Intense World Theory
A theory that people with autism experience the world in a much more intense way than average people do. At times the world can be so overstimulating that it becomes unbearable. Things like hyper-sensitivity, hyper-perception, and hyper-emotionality abilities can cause regular day to day events to become much more difficult and uncomfortable for those with autism.
