The ability to be aware of and understand one’s own thought process and understand the patterns that are behind them. It can be simply reflecting on one’s own line of thought and thinking about thinking. It can also be using the knowledge gained about ones self to find a way to maximize ones own learning capabilities and problem solving situations you have problems with.
