Embrace ASD made it to the
Top 50 Autism Blogs
list by Feedspot!

Embrace Autism | Top 50 autism blog! | autism 50

We launched Embrace ASD in April 2018, but quickly thereafter placed our website under construction to work on a custom design and rethink the communication of our website, the result of which you can see today. We finally launched our reworked website on August 4, 2018.

Less than two months later, we made it to #42 of Top 50 Autism Blogs, Websites & Newsletters To Follow in 2018!

Acknowledgments

We would like to thank all our readers for using our website as a source, and everyone who supported us—even before we launched our website and wrote about autism on Quora—and continues to support us.

We would also like to thank our web developer Quinn Rusnell (the guy below), who went above and beyond to help us build this platform, and without whom we would not have garnered the attention and readership that lead to us making the Top 50 list.

An illustrated portrait of Quinn.

And finally, we would like to thank Anuj Agarwal of Feedspot, who saw the value of our blog and included us in his Top 50 list.

The Embrace Autism team shares the latest updates on our website and organization. Who writes the articles under the Embrace Autism name, you may ask. The simple answer is that we all do; each of us alternates between typing a single key. It takes a ridiculous amount of time to write that way, but it’s all about the team effort!

Land acknowledgement

Embrace Autism recognizes and acknowledges the traditional lands of the Indigenous peoples across Ontario. From the lands of the Anishinaabe to the Attawandaron and Haudenosaunee, these lands surrounding the Great Lakes are steeped in First Nations history. We are in solidarity with Indigenous brothers and sisters to honour and respect Mother Earth. We acknowledge and give gratitude for the wisdom of the Grandfathers and the four winds that carry the spirits of our ancestors that walked this land before us. Embrace Autism is located on the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit. We acknowledge and thank the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation—the Treaty holders—for being stewards of this traditional territory.
