Meet our new clinicians:

Dr. Amy Marschall & Dr. Jennifer Arpink

★ Expanding access to neurodiversity-affirming ★
autism/AuDHD assessments across the globe

At Embrace Autism, we’re committed to providing affirming, accurate, and accessible autism assessments led by clinicians who understand neurodivergence from both clinical and lived experience.

To that end, we’re excited to introduce two remarkable psychologists who are now part of our growing international team: Dr. Amy Marschall and Dr. Jennifer Arpink.

Dr. Amy Marschall, PsyD

  • Licensed in: Montana, New York, and 39 PSYPACT states; as well as New Zealand
  • Neurotypes: autistic & ADHD

Dr. Amy Marschall brings a rare combination of clinical expertise, lived experience, and advocacy to her work. As an autistic psychologist with ADHD, she provides neurodiversity-affirming care rooted in both professional insight and personal understanding.

Credentials

She earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Hartford in 2015, completed her pre-doctoral internship through the National Psychology Training Consortium (Central Region), and finished her post-doctoral residency at Family Psychological Center in Harrison, Arkansas. Since becoming a licensed psychologist in 2016, Dr. Marschall has focused her work on trauma-informed care, psychological assessment, and rural mental health.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Marschall is a prolific author and educator. She has written multiple clinical texts, children’s books, and therapeutic tools, including:

  • A Clinician’s Guide to Supporting Autistic Clients: Over 100 Treatment Recommendations and Interventions for Creating a Neurodiversity-Affirming Practice
  • Neurodiversity-Affirming Mental Health Care: What Every Therapist Needs to Know
  • Slipper the Penguin: A Story About Embracing Neurodivergence

Her work is driven by a belief in accessible, affirming, and strengths-based care for all neurotypes. Clients can begin the first phase of their autism assessment with Dr. Marschall for U$438/C$595, and she is licensed to diagnose across 39 U.S. states via PSYPACT, in addition to Montana, New York, and New Zealand.

Dr. Jennifer Arpink, MA, RPsych

  • Licensed in: British Columbia
  • Neurotype: Autistic

Dr. Jennifer Arpink is a Registered Psychologist based in British Columbia with a strong commitment to neurodivergent adults seeking clarity, connection, and self-understanding through diagnosis. As an autistic clinician herself, Dr. Arpink brings deep empathy, creativity, and a conscientious approach to her work.

Credentials

She earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of British Columbia Ph.D in 2020.

Her early career has been marked by a thoughtful blend of independent initiative and collaborative practice. While working in a high-intensity trauma program at Back in Motion, she developed a reputation for personalized, client-centered treatment plans and an ability to connect meaningfully with individuals navigating complex emotional terrain.

Dr. Arpink is especially passionate about ongoing learning and clinical community-building. For over two years, she has hosted a peer consultation group for Registered Psychologists, and more recently launched a second group dedicated entirely to autism assessment, diagnosis, and therapy. Her drive to deepen expertise and share knowledge has made her a trusted voice among clinicians exploring neurodivergent care.

Dr. Arpink will begin seeing clients from British Columbia starting in July, offering autism assessments that meet provincial documentation standards, including support for accessing the Disability Tax Credit and other services.

Why lived experience matters

At Embrace Autism, many of our clinicians are themselves neurodivergent. This isn’t incidental—it’s intentional. Lived experience shapes how we interpret psychometric tools, hear your story, and support your understanding of who you are. Both Dr. Marschall and Dr. Arpink embody this philosophy of care.
