Broad(er) autism phenotype (BAP)
The broad(er) autism phenotype (BAP) is a set of personality and language characteristics found in non-autistic relatives of autistic individuals.
These characteristics are milder but qualitatively similar to the defining features of autism. In other words, they may share traits with their autistic family member, to a lesser degree and extent.
