Intelligence quotient (IQ)

The Intelligence quotient or IQ of someone is a measurement of that persons reasoning ability.  It is an effective way to tell how well someone can use information given to them and logically answer questions or make calculated predictions.  The scores given in IQ test are in the end estimates of intelligence, as someone’s intelligence is abstract, and not something that can be measured in absolutes like the mass or distance of something.
