Joubert syndrome

A rare genetic brain disorder where parts of the brain never develop properly.  The symptoms vary from minor to severe.  It can lead to things like intellectual development problems, poor motor skills, and flawed eyesight.  Severe cases unfortunately are fatal, and include kidney failure, liver failure, and respiratory failure.  There is no treatment for Joubert syndrome so any possible treatment is based on the symptoms that are shown.
