Obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD)
When someone has recurring and unwanted thoughts that force them to feel compelled to do a specific action or repeated action until the feeling dissipates. Everyone has habits or thoughts that repeat at times, but someone with OCD will have thoughts or actions that can take up an hour of a day, are beyond their control, they do not even enjoy doing or having, and interfere with work and or social life.
