The naturopathic autism screening gives an indication of whether autistic traits & characteristics are present, which need to be examined and validated in a formal diagnostic assessment.

The naturopathic diagnostic assessment is a clinician-assigned diagnosis, which is determined by using a wide array of clinically validated tools that follow the ‘gold standard’ of autism diagnosis.

A letter of accommodation (LOA) is a confidential document that provides a written statement explaining the reasonable accommodations that are being requested for your school, work, or other entity.

The naturopathic autism screening is the first part of the assessment process, which gives an indication of whether you are likely autistic.

Diagnostic assessment

The diagnostic assessment is the second and final step of
the assessment process, which includes more psychometrics,
an interview with Dr. Natalie Engelbrecht RP ND, and a review
of your information by Dr. Engelbrecht and Dr. Arora.

At the end of the process, you will receive a diagnostic report,
and you can consider yourself officially diagnosed!

Waiting time

  • The waiting time for the diagnostic report is up to
    3–4 weeks after the diagnostic interview has taken place.
  • You will be invited to book an interview with
    Dr. Engelbrecht ND RP within 12–16 weeks after
    completing your diagnostic questionnaire.

Letter of
accommo­dation

A letter of accommodation (LOA) letter is a confidential
document that provides a written statement explaining
the reasonable accommodations that are being requested
for your school, work, or other entity.
